In Science, we learned about Plate Tectonics, using Mars bars. We have to do some moving to create a boundary/movement. I enjoyed it because It is fun and you get to EAT it.
We picked Mars bars as an excellent representation for Earth because it has the part we needed like a crust, upper mantle, and an inner mantle. And the caramel looks like a lava.
I observed that it takes a lot of force just to pull it out even though it is already cut. Probably that is what happening too. When the two things were apart, I would see outer core if the crust was moving in a divergent boundary.
And I also observed that when the Mars bars were sticking together, it is hard to pull out, and the front is pushed back and destroyed (kinda). It goes up and form a mountain, this type of movement is called a convergent boundary.
Is Earth moving around necessary?
(Question for the Planets): If the Earth is round because of Magentic Field (I guess), How is the planet round too?
